Many indeed died from their sin. Drunkenness is a sin, and many died from drunkenness, like from accidents. Too much alcohol within their system and doing crimes because they were drunk or while they are drunk. This include all vices such as drugs and gambling.
Many died from sexually transmitted diseases. Acquired through the sins of fornication and adultery. Many are also killed by jealous lovers because of it.
Many died from stealing. Many of whom are killed by cops or by ordinary citizens when they try to escape. Or meet some deadly accidents along the way. This are the few examples. But this is not worst thing that can happen to all who died from their sins. Because such people will also suffer the second death.
But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death. - Revelation 21:8.
